Samosa Singh

Samosa is a national favourite, and a snack that is enjoyed any every nook and corner. It was, thus, my great pleasure to try out a few of their offerings. Originally from Bangalore, they have a cloud kitchen concept here in Hyderabad. To get a comprehensive view, I went for the following items, and here's how they stood. I. Veg Samosa Platter with with Masala Nimbu Pani: This was the platter priced at 248. It included 7 samosas in total, and a medium glass of Nimbu Pani. The drink was good and refreshing. As for the samosa, I loved the corn one and the paneer one the most! The Aloo one also had a good filling. The disappointing part was the patty. The layer felt a bit stale and wasn't as crisp or thin, as expected. The chocosa is their dessert offering. It comes in the form of a prepacked wafer kind of crisps. I tried the Nutella one. The outside was studded with peanuts, while the interior was filled with Nutella. II. Samosa Chat: This was well done! It had samosas topped ...

Dabbawala Biryani - Madhapur

This is a purely biryani place, that delivers a set range of biryanis. They have a to the point menu, and provide you with the various adaptation of the popular dish. From the vegetarian section, I picked Paneer Biryani and Tehari to go. The quantity is sufficient for someone like me, who is not looking to devour an entire pot.  I loved the paneer biryani! There were ample of paneer pieces, the spice levels were adequate and the caramelized onions on the top were a delight. I am aware of the tehari biryani and was looking forward to it, but didn't find it beyond decent. The chilli was a bit too much, that it overpowered all the other flavours; could have been better.  For their cost, they definitely are value for money. I hear the non-veg ones are pretty good, too! As for the vegetarians, do make sure that you try their Paneer one.  Overall, I would rate the place a 3.5 out of 5.
