eat.fit - Gachibowli

This is a new go-to option for getting food deliveries, thanks primarily to Zomato's 50% off. My favourite from the menu is the vegetarian version of Keema parantha. Personally speaking, for my appetite, one stuffed parantha is enough. The parantha itself is a regular tawa parantha, filled with Tofu Keema, cut into 4 pieces. You bite into it, and you get a spicy flavour, but one that doesn't leave a chilli after taste. It came with green chutney, and the packing is quite immaculate. It also comes with a small portion of the Super Food of the Day. With today's order, I received a small Til Ladoo (Sesame Sweet). I wish they used lesser plastic for the packaging, though. For 73 bucks (post discount), this is one pocket-friendly and satiating dish.

The Spice Affair - Balanagar

The last Sunday had me venturing into a rather unknown (for me) part of the city - Balanagar. Following the directions by Maps, we travelled a good 15 km to reach this place. The closer we got to the destination, the inkling of the restaurant being more of dhaba setup, increased. But the reality turned out to be different. Seating and ambient is textbook family dine-in kind — sofa chairs, ample lighting and a comforting, familiar kind of menu. A wall of the restaurant is taken up by a huge projector screen, and come the IPL season, it is going to be a boon for the match addicts. Spice Affair is barely fifty days old, and the owner, Kaushik, had invited us for a review session. Talking to us, he told ...

StickHouse - Forum Mall

Sitting right in the middle of the busy Food Court of Forum mall, is this small kiosk, dishing out deserts on a stick. A part of the well known chain, this outlet of Steakhouse India is all of 2 counters and numerous Gelato sticks on display. The site is sure to bring out the kid in you! We were here for a review session and had 4 items. But before diving into that, let me give you a general idea as to what they offer. To keep your desert free from being cumbersome, they offer it to you on a stick - be it ice cream or Waffle. You have the option of getting it dipped into chocolate (dark, milk and white), either completely or a half of it. You can further choose it to be topped with cashews, pistachios or almonds. Now, off to what I tasted. • Chocolate Cheesecake - This one we picked right off the display. It looked like a monochromatic Christmas tree. It had the hint of sourness of a cheesecake, and the flavour was bang on! • Sitaphal - My favourite of the lot ❤️ They make their own g...
