Flechazo

I have been skeptical of higher rated places. More often than not, the Zomato ends up being misleading. But this time it wasn't.

I have been hearing about the place since it opened up last year, but it was only yesterday, that I finally visited the place for lunch, along with 5 others.

The place is located on the main road, right next to Avasa, and is quite easy to spot. Parking is no issue either. We reached the place around 12.30, and though we did not have a reservation, it was easy to get accommodated. They have a good amount of seating places.

The decor is nothing too fancy, yet colorful and vibrant. There are witty posters lining the walls, even those of washrooms! In all, the place has a gleeful feel to it. After we were seated and settled in, a server came and gave an overview of the day's menu.

First off, we were served with complimentary Virgin Mojitos. The much needed cooler was not only soothing, but also good in quantity. Post that, the starters were brought to our table. The vegetarian starters included:

1. Multani Paneer Tikka: Paneer was tender, and well coated.

2. Paprika Potato Wedges: A break from the regular array of starters, these thin slices of potatoes were delightful.

3. Crispy Veg: Though the vegetables were fried to crispiness, I found the salt to be a little too much.

4. Spring Rolls: One of the best ones! Crispy, and with good amount of filling.

5. Grilled Pineapple

6. Potato tikki

Besides the regular, we had also ordered for 5 cocktails at 599. Special mention to the Irish Choco!

Next, we moved on to the live counters. The Pani Puri came in 2 varieties, one with the regular jaljeera water, the other with more sweetened tamarind one. Mini garlic toasts with cheese and mayo were also good. The momos were served with a different kind of dip, that was neither too spicy nor too bland. There were mini fruit salads as well, like watermelon bit with cream and mint.

On the other hand, there were the pizza and pasta counters. The orders could be placed from the table, or you could go and roll out your own pizza. Fun session! Because I prepared the pizza myself, not gonna find a fault with it :P

Tried the white sauce pasta as well. It was creamy and cheesy, yet not devoid of flavour.

I decided to give the main coursea skip, and went on directly to the desserts. Besides the jalebi, liked all the others.

1. Banana Pudding

2. Blueberry mousse cake (loved this!)

3. Black forest pastry

4. Nutty brownie

5. Macaroons: Done quite perfectly!

6. Gajar Halwa

7. Gulab Jamuns

The live counter here was making on spot ice cream with liquid nitroge. You could get the flavour of your liking made in minutes!

The service was good, with servers celebrating birthdays by dancing in unison. What I did not like was the seating. The tables were clumsy, cluttered and not broad enough for two. They weren't leveled either. Also, the main wasn't anything great. I had tried Pineapple Sandwich, Pesto Pasta salad and Veg Lasagna. All three were average. Nonetheless, I still had a great time, and a better vegetarian buffet than most other places.
