The Faasos Story

Following is a consolidation of the reviews for various Faasos offerings.

FAASOS

Faasos has been a name familiar to us, for quite long now. They offer filling meals, in the form of wraps. My tryst with Fasoos consisted of Mexican Potato Salsa wrap, and the Cheese Melt Paneer wrap.
The signature wraps have a sheet of maida roti, generously loaded with the choice of fillings. A single wrap is capable of sufficing your hunger pangs. The Mexican wrap had potato, like it's present in Shwarmas and the Paneer wrap was big on cheese.
They come neatly packed in handy boxes, accompanied with their specially packed Masala packets, to make your meals more interesting!

OVENSTORY PIZZA

Craving a good pizza? Ovenstory could be your answer! I tried the Famous Five Pizza. The topping of the pizza came in a form that felt like the ingredients have been blended in a gravy. The paneer chunks, corn, olives, jalapeƱos and onions, all were present in good quantity. The crust was fluffy, and not too thick. The cheese was also topped well. You wouldn't need the extra seasonings, the flavours of the sauce are that good!

And with the 1+1 offer that they have, it would be definitely a steal price for such pizzas

FIRANGI BAKE

Firangi Bake attempts to incorporate the Indian flavours into international dishes. Trying their fusion dishes, I opted for Bombay Masala Quesadillas and Corn & Pimento Lasagne.

The packing was beautiful! Especially loved the little tag that came with it. The lasagne had a thick coat of cheese on the top. There was a generous serving of sweet corns as well. But it had a little too much of black pepper, which overpowered the otherwise good taste. They came with a side of bread sticks. Loved the Quesadillas, though! The desi-ness of the flavours went well with the wrapping. Do try!

SWEET TRUTH

My desserts craving last Friday night were satiated with an order from Sweet Truth. I got the cheesecake and the pancakes delivered.

The pancakes came in set of three, accompanied with blueberry sauce, chocolate sauce and honey, to be dressed as per your liking. The pancakes could have been softer, and felt a tiny bit under done at one place. Otherwise, they were nice.

The cheesecake portion is huge! It takes a while to complete the whole thing. The biscuit layer is proportional to the size, and there are zero faults to be found with respect to the overall taste.

BEHROUZ BIRYANI

Last Thursday afternoon, looking for something other than usual office lunch, I ordered Paneer Subz Biryani from Behrouz.

It impressed me right from the black elegant packing itself! The biryani was accompanied with a small Gulab Jamun, and 2 small containers of green raita.

Simply speaking, loved the biryani! It had the right amount of spices, and the paneer pieces were also present in good quantity. The overall quantity, too, was more than sufficient for 1 person (there were 3 of us average appetite, struggling to complete it!)
It isn't your usual Hyderabadi Biryani, but is a wave of fresh taste! Also, definitely worth the price.
