Chili's is a new found favourite for me, and I like to try it out as and when I can. I realize I'm quite late in joining the tribe, considering how long it has been present in the food scene. Nevertheless, I am making it up now for missed opportunities. So, while roaming around CP, deciding on the place to eat, the two of us ended up here on a Saturday afternoon.
The setup is pretty similar to their other branches, with ample seating that is spread across 2 floors. Diving into the starters, we decided to go for a Triple Dipper. Between the two of us, one was a vegetarian and the other one, not. Upon checking with the server, we ordered a dipper with two veg and one non-veg appetizers. We went with Southwestern Rolls, Texas Cheese Poppers, and Signature Wings. As usual, loved both the vegetarian ones, though, for some reason, found the poppers to be a bit sour.
Next, we ordered for a berry Iced Tea, and Spicy Smoked Veg Pasta, for the mains. The drink was refreshing and was sweet in the right amount that did not leave you with a heavy palate. The pasta came in a portion size that we could not finish. It was creamy, cheesy and topped with corn salsa. The first bite had felt a bit sweet but nothing too bothersome.
The bill for the entire meal was around 1200 bucks, decent enough for two in CP, especially for the quantities served.
