Strolling in the newly opened Sarath City Capital Mall, Kothaguda, is bound to make you hungry - there is so much walking involved! But the eatery options are limited, as of yet.
One such was a stall named Taste of Punjab.
Run by a middle-aged Sikh couple, they serve some of the basic Punjabi delicacies. The menu is limited and primarily has Paranthas, Paav Bhaji, Chhole Kulche/Bhature/Chawal and Lassi to offer. We tried the Methi Paneer Parantha and Chhole Bhature, priced at 90 bucks each. The parantha was freshly rolled, and fried in butter, right in front of us! It is served with home-mde green chutney, pickles and curd. The chhole were not unnecessarily spicy or oily, and were great with the fluffy Bhature.
Unsure as to till when they are gonna be put up, but look out for them on the ground floor food counters. The food has some homely feel, with flavours that leave a satiating feeling.
P.S.: They serve 3 pavs in Pav Bhaji, as I gathered from other people's plates.
P.P.S.: They are not an affiliate of the restaurant Taste of Punjab.
