Healthy food is the new fad. Considering how a lot is working people are always on a look out for healthier eating options, joints delivering such food are sure here to stay. One such new entrant is the Green Box. I was offered to try out a few items from their menu, and so here is how my dinner went.
The delivery was at the exact time promised, and the food was received hot. From their vegetarian set of options, I got a salad, a biryani, a curry and multi-grain rotis.
•Grilled Vegetable Salad 🥗 - Plethora of veggies, grilled and mixed with sauces, this was a filling dish in itself. It included beans, broccoli, cauliflower, bell peppers, paneer and a lot many other vegetables.
•Palak Paneer - Home style, without any extra cream or any adulteration, this felt like eating a really light yet satiating curry. It came topped with 🌶️ mirchi tadka, for an extra flavour kick.
•Multi-Grain Rotis 🥙 - Bit smaller in size than your average Rotis, but heavier. The grains include Bajra, Ragi, Jowar and Amranth, and some these you can actually taste distinctly!
•Brown Rice Biryani 🍚 - A Biryani with brown rice may sound odd, but believe you me, there was no lack of flavour. Easily the highlight of the lot. Loved the quantity of paneer pieces and the aroma that the box emitted. Must try!
As I mentioned, they have a homely tatse to their dishes. It is like having your comfort food, with ingredients replaced with their healthier versions. Do give them a try and Go Green! 💚
